Andhera Records welcomes label boss Ky William with his two-track 'Don't Go' EP, bringing together old-school house influences, uplifting melodies, and deeper underground textures across two contrasting cuts. For the title track, 'Don't Go,' uplifting chords sit at the heart of the record, gradually opening up and allowing it to breathe naturally. A memorable vocal hook pushes things forward, bringing a feel-good lift, while punchy low-end and drums add weight and energy. An old-school house feel runs throughout, with subtle acid touches adding an underground edge and a fluid flow that makes the track equally at home during daytime sessions or into the evening. On 'Breakbeat,' the mood shifts into rawer territory. Organic percussion and a rolling bassline create a hypnotic flow, while deep tech textures add further weight and a darker edge. Uplifting pads gradually emerge throughout the track, bringing contrast and depth before everything strips back to the vocal and breakbeat elements ahead of the drop. The track then hits back with added energy, creating a dynamic cut that keeps its momentum from start to finish. Rooted in the rich musical heritage of Brooklyn, Ky William has rapidly established himself as one of the city's premier selectors and most promising producers. His sound draws on deep grooves and hip-hop influences, with releases on Knee Deep In Sound, Solid Grooves, Factory 93 and his own Andhera Records, earning support from Jamie Jones, Loco Dice, The Martinez Brothers, Michael Bibi, and Hot Since 82. Alongside performances at major venues including Brooklyn Mirage, Ky has developed Andhera Records into a respected underground imprint, consistently charting in the Beatport Top 10 and surpassing one million streams. With 'Don't Go,' Ky William delivers two distinct sides of his sound, moving from feel-good, classic house influences to deeper and more stripped-back club territory, while further shaping the identity of Andhera Records.
