Following his acclaimed Moodmusic debut Madcap Quest, Finnish producer Empath returns with Spiraling Memories—a four-track journey through the deeper corners of contemporary electronic music. Blending minimal aesthetics, subtle electro influences, and hypnotic house grooves, the EP effortlessly bridges the gap between home listening and late-night dancefloors. Opening with the shimmering pulse of "Memory Unlocked", the release unfolds through the swirling synth textures of "Pink Spiral", the playful, machine-driven groove of "Refreshing The Browser", and closes with "Toms of Finland", a stripped-back yet deeply infectious cut that perfectly encapsulates Empath's distinctive style. Known for releases on Moodmusic, Motto Sono, Signature Dark, EABE, Platypus Trax, Diffuse Reality, and Shimmering Moods, Empath continues to refine a sound that is both timeless and forward-thinking. Spiraling Memories embraces minimalism without sacrificing warmth, delivering intricate rhythms, elegant melodies, and an unmistakable sense of movement. It is a record that will resonate equally with house selectors, electro enthusiasts, and anyone drawn to sophisticated electronic music with depth and character. September sees Empath expand his sonic palette once again, proving that some of the most memorable dancefloor moments are created not through excess, but through precision, space, and imagination.
