Following recent EP releases from Cristian Vogel and Theiz, EPM continue their 25th year with another longtime collaborator, Belgium based Dany Rodriguez. Whilst focusing his time on the LINK Festival and his own LINK Audio label, Dany has become a versatile producer of note, switching from electro to techno and electronica to house with ease. On the album New Departure EPM collates a selection of his releases on LINK Audio, some only ever on limited vinyl, with a few unreleased tracks to showcase his studio mastery. Born in the early 80s in Liege, in the Retinne neighbourhood, Dany Rodriguez grew up in a Spanish-rooted family, surrounded by music from an early age thanks to his father, a guitarist, and the regular band rehearsals that filled the home. In the early 2000s, Sammy Goossens (half of CYRK) introduced him to Gregory Lacour (Audiopolis), leading to his first vinyl release on his own Destination label. Many collaborations followed, notably with David Carretta, Plastic de Reve, The Neon Electronics and The Hacker. He has since released music on respected labels such as Kombination Research, Bulletdodge, EPM Music, MB Elektronics and Materia, and performed in legendary clubs like Tresor (Berlin) and Fuse (Brussels), where he has been invited numerous times. His name has appeared on line-ups at major international festivals and venues such as BPM (Mexico), Sonar (Barcelona), Nature One (Mainstage), and Privilege in Ibiza. He has also played in Colombia, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Croatia, Czech Republic, Ibiza and many other countries. Today, Dany Rodriguez devotes himself fully to his projects LINK (event/festival) and LINK Audio (label), driven by a commitment to champion authentic music - culturally rich and free from superficial popularity. For him, music is above all a cultural and unifying act, a tool for empowerment and inspiration for both todays audience and future generations. This album represents the colours that resonate with most with Dany. It is an exploration of sound where emotion, texture and intention come together to form a coherent yet evolving journey. The idea was to bring something unexpected to the listener, productions that follow a particular direction while remaining accessible and enjoyable. Each track carries its own identity but always with a clear and positive message at its core. Musically, the album moves between electronica and electro, blending subtle atmospheres with more direct, rhythmic elements. There is also a conscious effort to preserve an authentic touch, something raw and sincere allowing the music to feel human, grounded and honest. The album is preceded by the single R3d Moon and is released on 15 May via EPM Music. Dany is currently working on new productions for EPM Music (alongside Oliver Way), Laurent Garniers COD3 QR and his own label, LINK Audio.

Alexander Kowalski , The Hacker , Neon Electronics , Dany Rodriguez
For its 25th release, LINK Audio presents a brand-new Various Artists compilation, opening with an exclusive track by Alexander Kowalski. (Digital Anhedonia) delivers a vibrant electro journey built around expressive string-like chords, evolving pads, and a narrative progression unmistakably rooted in Kowalskis signature sound. A vocoder-driven vocal lifts the atmosphere even higher, while playful melodic keys add a subtle touch of fantasy, giving the track its unique emotional color. The second track, (Better Way) by The Hacker & Neon Electronics, arrives in a freshly remastered 2025 version originally released in 2009. This cut carries The Hackers unmistakable imprint: a driving electro rhythm, a tight and punchy bassline, and flashes of white-noise bursts striking through the introduction like lightning. Neon Electronics, with Dirk Da Davos vocal also known for his work as part of The Neon Judgement brings a timeless, almost haunting dimension, reinforcing the raw and powerful energy radiating from the track. Closing the compilation, (You See) by Dany Rodriguez blends electro, bass, New Wave, and Disco influences into a hybrid groove that sits between acoustic and digital textures. A warm, emotional bassline anchors the track, joined by pads and evolving elements that gradually unfold into a story of their own. Throughout the piece, evocative vocals by Alberto Gonzalez Rosillo, combined with the guitar-like keys performed in various forms by Manuel, Danys father, shape the tracks distinctive atmosphere, rounding off this VA with depth and character.
