Fireworx Vol. 1 opens the vault on a sound built for the dead of night: raw, rolling, hypnotic techno stripped down to its rawest architecture. This inaugural volume gathers a tight crew of producers from labels such as Planet Rhythm Special Series, SWAY, Codein Music, Rawness, Sbert, Dolma, Diffuse Reallity, Unity Records who understand that the groove is the message - loops that coil and mutate over sixteen bars, low end that sits in the chest, and just enough tension in the percussion to keep a room locked for hours without ever needing a drop. Across the tracklist, the compilation moves through the different faces of the hypnotic sound: sparse, dubbed-out rollers built for the after-hours; harder, more industrial cuts with metallic percussion and acid-tinged bass; and deeper, more meditative excursions where a single filtered loop does all the talking. It's a collection assembled less like a playlist and more like a DJ set in disguise - every track engineered to mix, to disappear into the next, and to keep the floor in that trance state where time stops mattering. Label feedback & support comes from Chris Liebing, Truncate, Ben Sims, Drumcomplex, Pan-Pot, Ramon Tapia, Len Faki, Anthony Pappa, Anja Schneider, Slam, The Advent, Cristian Varela, Kaiserdisco, Hollen, Paco Osuna, Simina Grigoriu, Markantonio, Mauro Picotto, Sinisa Tamamovic, John Selway, Ignacio Arfeli, Irregular Synth, Electric Rescue, Steve Sai, The Southern and many more
Bee Morris make his solo debut on the label with this excellent 3 tracker fresh off the back of his recent 'Full Rack EP' alongside Caolan Patrick. All 3 tracks are packed full of groove along with clever percussion and filthy synth work. Fantastic EP, and Bee Morris will be back on the label again in the very near future!
