Chrom Recordings turns 9! Just like last year we're celebrating our anniversary with a birthday party in Amsterdam (on the 17th of April) alongside a special editon of our well-known Chromologic series. For this anniversary edition, the Chromologic concept remains unchanged: five standout tracks from a selection of exciting artists. This time however, the release exclusively features familiar Chrom faces only, two of whom will also perform at our birthday celebration in Amsterdam. To mark the occasion, we've focused purely on Melodic House & Techno, delivering a collection of top tracks designed to set the tone for our birthday party. First up we welcome back Alex Sharp to Chrom. Born and raised in Transylvania, Romania and now living in Amsterdam, where he is a succesful promotor and resident-dj at club John Doe where we will celebrate our 9th anniversary on the 17th of April. Next artist is Volkan Erman, the Turkey-born, Italy-based producer who made his Chromologic debut at the end of last year in collaboration with Baris Unal. The third contribution comes from Toronto-based SEAN OBRIEN, the The Harder Side of Twilight Music Sculpture. Under that alias he previously remixed Chrom label head Pedro Mercado and has performed several times for us during the Amsterdam Dance Event. This time, Sean joins forces with Youknowkeegan for a special collaboration. Following them is MIREAL from India, who first appeared on Chromologic last year alongside M87. Last but certainly not least is RELO4D from Brussels. After making his Chromologic debut just a few months ago and releasing his first EP on our sister label Planet Ibiza Music, he now returns with another strong contribution, while his Chrom EP is already scheduled for release soon. With this latest Chromologic installment, and accompanying anniversary party in Amsterdam, Chrom Recordings reinforces its position as a tastemaker within the global electronic music scene.
