    Maltitz

    Beatport Banner

PETS Recordings welcomes German DJ, producer, and Rurutu Records boss Maltitz for the 'Attic' EP, due for release on 12 June 2026. The release follows the collaborative single 'Boefje Beach' by Maltitz and Claus Casper on Love Attack Records, as well as a string of singles, collaborations, and remixes for Amount, Boys Shorts, Daddy Squad, Harrington, Last Rhythm, Opera Electric, Renato Cohen, RSS Disco, and S'Express. Blending Italo disco, Balearic house, and electro, Maltitz has become a prominent fixture in Berlin's club scene, playing regularly at Sisyphos and Kater Blau. His music has appeared on labels including Bordello a Parigi, Fauve Records, Skylax Records, Snackwax, and Watergate Records. The 'Attic' EP delivers three must-have cuts, each with a distinctive nineties flair and irresistible groove. Lead single 'Attic' is a high-energy production, featuring techno-inspired rhythmic stabs that marry a four-to-the-floor pulse with a deep, rolling bassline. '9mm' and 'Ronaldo On Acid' follow closely behind, with Maltitz using the classic nineties Ace The Space vocal sample in the former, and finishing it off with a colossal combination of trance, acid, and electro in the latter. An EP primed to set the dancefloor alight.

Vhyce comes back to Catz 'n Dogz' Pets Recordings with the 'Worst Plot Convenience' EP, set for release 24th April 2026. It marks the Belgium producer's fifth EP for the label, following his debut in 2021 and his latest contribution in 2025. Vhyce's 'Worst Plot Convenience' starts with the title track, lush chords washing over crisp drums while an irresistible bassline carries the groove. This deepness continues on the rave-ready 'Everything Is Within You', delving into trance motifs with arpeggiating low-end and uplifting vocal harmonies, before 'Sunchild' finishes with piano melodies and acidic textures for those feel-good, late-night dancefloor moments.

    LUMI (FIN)

Pets Recordings welcomes Darco and Christian Nielsen for two reworks of LUMI's 'Lost In Time' single, originally released in November 2025, each offering a distinct club-facing interpretation while expanding the track's reach across different dancefloor settings. American-Finnish DJ, producer, and SKADI Records founder LUMI has been steadily carving out her own lane, with releases on labels including Nervous Records, Turbo Recordings, Octopus Recordings, Kneaded Pains, and HE.SHE.THEY. Darco steps up first, reshaping the track into a vibrant, percussion-led house cut built for peak-time movement. Mentored by Solomun and with releases on Diynamic Music, Madorasindahouse, and Maccabi House, the TLV producer brings his signature crisp drum programming and punchy groove to the fore. Rolling rhythms and dynamic low-end drive the remix forward, while LUMI's vocal hooks weave in and out of the mix with playful urgency, delivering a high-energy reinterpretation that retains the original's magnetic pull. Christian Nielsen takes the track into deeper, darker territory. The Danish producer, known for releases on Spectrum, Diynamic Music, and Ellum Audio, leans into a more restrained, late-night aesthetic. Deep synth stabs and a driving bassline steadily build pressure, unfolding into a heavy, floor-filling groove that blurs the line between house and techno. It's a shadowy, after-hours rework designed for large rooms and sustained tension.
