The original instrumental of the track I had laying around for 3 years waiting for a good time to release. On a whim I sent this track through to Monta with a couple more demos, but this one caught their eye, wanting to see this track with some vocals. Mami and I met through mutual friends (Calvin - Pao), so the track came to be with Mami wanting to hop on this instrumental. It was so long ago when I made the instrumental. I came up with the melody and It just stuck in my head. I really wanted to make the track around it. The sound design of the lead is very basic, but the melody is what carries the track.

Both tracks recently debuted at Elements festival this summer on Barclays 60+ date Open Channel tour. Tiramisu is a father daughter collab with Barclay Crenshaw jumping up and down in the studio with his daughter Ella making music together. You can hear all the punk rock fun in the vocals of this junkyard bass tune. Flam Joint is the follow-up rap track to Barclays rhyme debut on Cannibal Strings in June, this time with a more UK influenced beat.
Vincent returns to Dim Mak after 6 years with “Falling Stars,” a refreshing spin on the golden era of Future Bass, featuring the captivating LA-based songwriting group Nevve in a vocal-driven, emotionally charged tear-jerker.
