For its 6th release, Berlin-based Klangkuenstler returns to his Outworld imprint with the Weltschmerz EP – an ode to a world in turmoil, prophesying that there's light at the end of a pitch-black tunnel. For there's a fire of passion burning brightly within the depth of these two monstrous new tracks. Make no mistake, this is brutal, floor-shaking techno, yet, despite the sheer force, Klangkuenstler captures the emotional essence of our Zeitgeist, shape-shifting moods between raging anger, deep-blue melancholia and glimpses of hope. The EP's title-track 'Weltschmerz' kicks off mercilessly at the light-speed-tempo Klangkuenstler has become synonymous with. As a muscular kick thuds below slashing hats and rust-covered atmospherics, a venomous lead snakes through this airtight framework, unfolding into a moment of unadulterated ecstasy. 'Untergang', meanwhile, bursts of pure energy in tired times, thundering violently towards a bittersweet peak of warehouse-sized euphoria. To put it in a nutshell: Klangkuenstler rings in the end and we're going out with a bang. Though cooked-up for carnage, it's Klangkuenslter's intuition for existentialist contrasts that let the Weltschmerz EP transcend its design purpose to grow into something altogether bigger – touching body, mind and soul alike. The outside world may have ground to halt, but Outworld continues to move.

This EP features three powerful Schranz productions. Aphotic went through a period in which he was less productive, as his style did not align with the sound that was dominating the scene at the time. This led to a feeling of being less appreciated, which in turn affected his motivation. Recently, however, he has noticed that his style is once again being valued, restoring his drive and inspiration. He is now fully focused on producing music again and uses this EP to deliver a clear message: never give up on your dreams.

It's almost impossible to believe that a label with so much international notoriety is still within its first ten releases. Still, Belgian Techno protagonist Amelie Lens' EXHALE imprint is set to make even more noise with its ninth release. Following a spate of well-received singles from Amelie and the latest offering from fellow Antwerp native BYØRN, EXHALE prepares itself for an impressive fifth VA, featuring 14 selected cuts from 16 artists in total. A slew of internationally recognised names and rising new-age talent, welcoming back some familiar faces alongside some debutants, including two collaboration tracks. Championing the diversity of the modern-day techno paradigm, EXHALE's latest VA dips its toe into a myriad of genres, with nods to psytrance, breakbeat, hardstyle, classical and even drum & bass across thirteen freakishly heavy dancefloor-primed stompers. It's everything you'd want from a release that showcases artistry in its simplest form.

Ornella (PT) presents her highly anticipated reléase : You Cant Stop Me The talented artist Ornella (PT) comes with her debut single titled You Cant Stop Me, a track full of energy and attitude, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in her career. The song is a powerful and vibrant electronic anthem that fuses the best of contemporary sounds with a touch of her own artistic personality. This track also features remixesby two standout producers: Temprano & ROTURA XXL, who bring their unique vision and style, taking You Cant Stop Me to new heights. Remixes of You Cant Stop Me: 1. Temprano: This remix stands out for its ability to reinterpret the original in a fresh and atmospheric way. Temprano, known for his experimental and refined approach to electronic music, introduces a layer of ethereal sound textures that envelop the track, maintaining the energetic essence of the original but with greater emotional depth. The rhythm section, although less aggressive than the original, remains solid, creating the perfect space for floating synthesizer layers and atmospheric elements that emerge with each beat. Tempranos remix adds a touch of melancholic introspection, contrasting with the tracks energy, making it ideal for quieter moments in the club or for a more contemplative listening experience. 2. ROTURA XXL: On the other hand,ROTURA XXLs remix takes the track to a more experimental and aggressive territory. Known for his bold production style and ability to merge genres with intensity, ROTURA XXL amplifies the original elements, giving them a more raw and energetic twist. Through heavier and more forceful percussion, along with deep basslines and broken synthesizers, this remix becomes a track that promises to shake up the dancefloor. The rhythm changes and layers of distortion enhance the feeling of controlled chaos, making every listen a completely different experience, full of adrenaline. In addition, Ornella brings us her second single, Pump It Hard, a track that not only stands out for its unrelenting energy but also for its ability to keep listeners in constant motion. This track is pure rhythm and attitude, designed for the dancefloor, with an unstoppable beat that drives listeners to action. Pump It Hard features remixes by two renowned artists from the Portuguese electronic scene:CALDAS PT & Berba PT, who, with their unique approaches, transform this track into something even more vibrant and dynamic. Remixes of pump It Hard: 1. CALDAS PT: CALDAS PT brings a more minimalist yet extremely effective remix. Keeping the original rhythm steady and firm, his version focuses on creating a tense atmosphere that builds slowly throughout the track. Instead of exploding right from the start, this remix takes its time, gradually increasing in intensity with percussive elements and pads that add complexity while the base remains solid. The true magic of this remix lies in how it plays with anticipation: each rhythmic and textural shift keeps the listener on the edge, creating a listening experience that is not only energetic but also cerebral. This remix is ideal for moments when the crowd is fully immersed in the music, eagerly awaiting every drop. 2. Berba PT: Berba PTs remix is pure energy. Known for his dynamic style and his ability to create moments of high tension on the dancefloor, Berba PT transforms Pump It Hard into an even more euphoric and groovy piece. His remix is characterized by a greater complexity in the sonic layers, combining pulsating synthesizer riffs with a dominant bassline and percussion that pushes the track to new territories. With a focus on highlighting rhythmic fluctuations and the feeling of acceleration, this remix turns Pump It Hard into an extremely danceable track, full of energy that invites you to keep moving non-stop. The combination of organic and electronic elements gives it a rich texture, making this remix a must-have for any DJ set. With this release, Ornella (PT) not only offers two powerful tracks but also presents a clear display of the richness and versatility of electronic music, blending styles and visions from artists who take the remixes to another level. Each remix, with its own personal touch, offers a unique reinterpretation of the originals while keeping the essence of the songs, exploring different sounds and emotions. Without a doubt, this release will mark a turning point in Ornellas career, positioning her as one of the new rising stars within the electronic scene. After a string of successful releases, Lenske regular AIROD is back on the label with a striking new single and subsequent EP. A certified dance floor pleaser both in and out of the studio, AIROD's distinct sound has kept him at the forefront of cutting-edge underground techno as it continues to evolve rapidly. Circling back for another release on Lenske, his latest work is another bold statement of intent, staking his claim as one of the genre's most exciting talents. Released first, on the 4th August is standalone single 'Meet Me In The Club', it teases with a wave of high-octane club-focused goodness. Building around a catchy vocal hook - the track comes in hot with racy grooves and riveting musicality. A core of thumping drums, fizzing hat sequences and erratic melodies flood the mix, twisted and pulled around with clever modulation and use of FX to carve out an energetic dance floor journey with hints of euphoric nostalgia throughout. The title cut 'Golden Pills' emulates a progressively intensifying sprint. Ethereal melodies and unwavering drums create an ever-increasing sense of urgency, dissected by ominous vox chops, atmospheric breaks, and a sea of instrumental flare from start to finish. 'I Just Wanna Rave' has 'warehouse track' written all over it. Furious drum work and minimal accompanying percussion set the base of the track, paving the way for an onslaught of shuddering synth layers and electrifying bass tones that keep you stomping until the last beat. 'At All Costs' cuts a sinister line from the outset. Its striking selection of infernal musical layers make the perfect match for a potent beat structure and catchy vocals, leading into a continuum of peaks and troughs, steered by crescendoing snare rolls and huge throwdowns with gripping melodic progressions either side.

Opener 'Instigator' breaks down to a unforgettable buzz saw breakdown before the beats come hurtling back, 'Infiltrator' adds a touch of drama to the EP with soft pad chords gliding across the middle of the track and closer 'Buzz Pollinator' takes the BPM's higher with its driving arpeggios pushing the track forward rounding off the EP breathlessly.

SMD was created way back in 1993 by Slipmatt simply for tracks to play out in his DJ sets. SMD stands for Slipmatt's Dubs, which is what SMD#1 started off as, a dubplate. These cheeky Happy Hardcore tracks have become iconic over the years so it's with great pleasure that we've made them available to download in their full original digital glory, and all together in one fantastic album, with a DJ mix from the Godfather, Slipmatt himself.
