Back To 89 started as an instrumental idea he sent Kevin McKay to collaborate on, and after some sample chops and Ableton tennis across the Atlantic, the pair had a killer groove to send to Akeem Raphael. The Moodfunk and Nervous Records star added his vocal touches, and the future disco anthem was complete.
