LOOD & Masters At Work feat. Donell Rush - Shout-N-Out (Remixes) [MAW Records] A cornerstone of the MAW Records catalogue for over two decades, Shout-N-Out by LOOD & Masters At Work feat. Donell Rush returns in a powerhouse remix package that bridges classic house with the energy of todays underground scene. Originally produced by Louie Vega and Mood II Swing, this vocal house anthem now gets a full rework treatment from a hand-picked crew of remix talent. Masters At Work themselves step up with a signature remix, instrumental and beats version, setting the tone with deep, driving grooves and soulful finesse. Blackchild delivers a fiery tech-house twist, Rocco Rodamaal drops a DJ dub tool for the late-night selectors, while Dennis Quin injects chunky low-end pressure on both vocal and instrumental takes. Rounding out the release, UK house heavyweights Café 432 & Ronnie Herel offer a slick, soulful reimagining, and N&L alongside DJ Erv bring a raw, throwback-styled rework with serious dancefloor appeal. Built for DJs, dancers and heads alike, this remix package breathes new life into a timeless vocal and keeps the Shout-N-Out legacy burning strong. LOOD & Masters At Work feat. With a stunning collection of music from producers around the world, RAJA RAM is back with the 7th edition of his STASH BAG series with tunes to blow your brain and scorch the dancefloor. Dive deep, rock hard and let those melodies clean the slate of boredom and prepare yourself for a seismic shift of delight. When asked what he thought about his new stash, Raja Ram said this: Compiling a comp is a bit like fishing... casting the nets out far and wide. These tracks are monsters of the deep, no minnows or tadpoles.... whale sized bass lines, shark like melodies cutting through.....and being in a glass cage full of piranhas. This is not for the weak or the incontinent, but brave warriors who love to vibrate on the floor at home or elsewhere. Put it on and have a party, leave it on and party some more! Lets share our stash.

At the tail end of 2021 DJ Godfather released 'This Detroit Thing Of Ours'. Like his 'Electro Beats For Freaks' album the previous year, it featured an abundance of tracks which segued into one another 46 tracks in total with a running time of nearly 2 hours. This is a man who likes to break all the album rules! Full of variety, the album covered genres like Electro, Techno, House and Ghetto Tech alongside collaborations with DJ Deeon, Goodmoney G100, King Saaidi, Gettoblaster & Missy, Lil Mz 313, Ricky Burns, JPE, Parkhouse and Dan Diamond. Revisiting that epic album, DJ Godfather is releasing a series of EPs which feature full length versions, alternative mixes, acapellas and instrumentals of some of those tracks.

The term 'selectah' has perhaps lost its meaning over the decades since jungle first roared out across the UK in the early 1990s as a furious blend of hardcore breakbeats, soundsystem dub and ragga energy. But if it still applies to anyone, it is to Nicky Blackmarket, the ultimate jungle selectah, and now overseeing the finest selection of jungle and drum 'n' bass bangers since . well, the last Welcome to the Jungle compilation on Jungle Cakes. From his early 90s stint running the drum 'n' bass counter at Soho's legendary Blackmarket Records, through his years at the head of the groundbreaking Kartoonz and Gyroscope labels, Nicky has broken more records than Usain Bolt. He simply has the finest ear around for absolute fyah, and he's used all his wealth of experience and years in the game to curate this compilation. 'I wanted to reminisce but also push things forward on this mix,' he says. 'You're educating the newcomers and giving the heads goosebumps. I remember some of these tunes when they first came into the shop. You knew the moment you heard them - and we always got them first - if you had an out and out banger on your hands. 'Incredible', 'Mutant Jazz', 'Pulp Fiction' . we sold bucket loads of them.' It is testament to classic 1994 tracks like M-Beat and General Levy's 'Incredible' (not to mention T-Power's 'Mutant Jazz' and Alex Reece's zeitgeist-shifting 'Pulp Fiction' from 1995) - all appearing here - that they more than hold their own with fresher cuts like Deekline and Specimen A's 'All the Way Up', Serum's 'All Ganga Man' and Serum & Voltage's 'Break it Down'. Nicky blends new and old with furious abandon, never lingering too long on one track but retaining due reverence for the classics and future classics alike. If this is not the finest Welcome to the Jungle edition so far, then it certainly comes very close indeed.

Italian trio The Dolphins make a triumphant return to SCI+TEC for the first time since their 2010 smash "Buffalo." Alessandro Veneri, Cristiano Valentini and Giacomo Doglione first joined the label back in 2008 with the release of their "Chemical Youth / Haze Hard" double-header. Hugely popular, the release helped introduce them to a wider audience and saw them go on to sign music to the likes of Boxer, Opossum, Suara, and Toolroom as well as becoming key artists on Joachim Spieth's Affin imprint. In 2009 The Dolphins returned to SCI+TEC with their track "When I'm Wrong" which, alongside tracks from Neuroxyde and Steve Angello's alter ego Mescal Kid, made up the label's "Formula One" EP. The following year they were back with "Buffalo" and the single found support from a wider spectrum of DJ's including Kasper Bjorke, Stephan Bodzin, Zdar, Joseph Capriati, Slam and Feadz. Now The Dolphins return in 2012 with their latest one two punch, the bouncy jackin' smash that is Dubfires favourite, "Alba". "I've been opening my sets with Alba since the guys gave it to me earlier this year. It has now become my signature opening track with tons of people asking what it is and when it will be released" says the label boss. This hit is backed by the dark staccato siren of "Paravision" on the flip. Another brace of techno bullets from the trio and another SCI+TEC classic.
As that well-known saying goes, "it does exactly as it says on the tin". Those sought after DJ and production tools dug out from the Defected vaults and dusted off fresh for 2012. From label classics, Ibiza anthems, diva screams, straight up house joints and vocal stabs...they're all here and ready to rock.Defected Accapellas Deluxe Volume 31. 2009 is definitely the year of Dutch hard dance-act Showtek. After years of 100\%\% dedication to their music, they have proven to be on top of their scene. Hollands most important hard dance export-product is about to start a huge world tour which will lead the brotherhood of Janssen to all different angles of the planet. The kick-of for this international tour will take place on the 24th of October, when Showtek launches the official release of the brand new album Analogue Players In A Digital World, the successor of the first artist album in hardstyle history. Showtek truly is the worlds leading hard dance-act. This is under scribed by an endless list of international awards: during the Hard Dance Awards in 2008 and 2009, FTS and Hold Us Back were honored to be Best Track, Showtek won the award for Best Hard Dance DJ and the duo won the Beatport Award for bestselling hard dance track of 2008. Also, Showtek was the first hardstyle act in history to prepare an Essential Mix for BBC1 Radio. In the mean time, even Hollywood discovered the talents of Sjoerd and Wouter Janssen: their production Raver was put on the soundtrack of the international blockbuster Brüno, the movie by Sacha Baron Cohen. This led to an enormous international exposure. Besides all of these achievements, Showtek sold out solo-nights for thousands of enthusiastic fans from Australia up to Europe and even the United States of America. The start of the international tour will take place on October the 24th, when Showtek presents her brand new album to the world in the North Sea Venue of Zaandam during the Saturday of Amsterdam Dance Event. In cooperation with party promoter and producer Art of Dance, the official release party of Analogue Players In A Digital World will be the place to be for all hard dance-addicts over the world. Showtek has the honor to be the first hard dance-act in Amsterdam Dance Events history to host an evening in its history. More information on the release party is available at www.analogueplayersinadigitalworld.com
2009 has been a fantastic year for music and a great year for Bedrock Records, and now John Digweed has selected future highlights, unreleased exclusives, current favourites and remixed classics, from his influential label’s catalogue for this next annual instalment of the Bedrock mix compilation series. With outstanding tracks from Guy Gerber, Christian Smith & John Selway, Pete Heller, Alan Fitzpatrick and Guy J (to name just a few), 2009 has seen the Bedrock label go from strength to strength with each release. Now, as this mix follows on from last year’s 10 year celebration album, “Past Present Future”, the main focus for “Bedrock Eleven” is the future. Featuring unreleased tracks that have been severely road-tested by the man himself over the last few months, this is a showcase of exclusives from artists such as Mutant Clan, Marco Bailey, Alex Dolby + Santos, Giorgos Gatzigristos, Marc Marzenit, Rowdent, Erphun and James Zabiela. There are also select classics from the label that have been specially remixed and updated for this album - Moonface "Futurized Fears", Bedrock "Emerald", and Tijuana "Groove Is In The Air".
