From the windswept coasts of Tasmania comes Narels most ambitious and personal work to date, a ten-track journey that blurs genre lines while painting vivid terrains. Since his 2020 album Diary of a Synthy Kid, Nick Simmons has sharpened his craft, deepened his sound design, and, with complete artistic freedom from the label, created an album that feels as intimate as it is expansive. Opening with the warm, unhurried glow of Helion, Narel sets a welcoming tone. Its a Deep Trance record that instantly transports you to a late summer afternoon. Particular Parallels immerses itself in Dub Techno territory, pulsing with hypnotic chords and an atmosphere you can almost reach out and touch. Interlocutor slows the heartbeat with lush Electronica textures, before Deep Time Excursions drifts entirely off-world in a cosmic Ambient haze. His chart-topping single Tired Mountain Syndrome returns here, its Hypnotic Trance grooves feeling even more potent in the albums context. The ethereal Aura Collapse expands the horizon further, a slow-motion explosion of spacey ambience and breathtaking soundscapes. Then comes the playful nod to Bodzin with The Ravers Have Left the Town — a melodic house cut that shimmers with bittersweet nostalgia. Ephemerides stretches time with over ten minutes of Atmospheric Progressive Breaks, channeling the spirit of Airwave and Sasha in a slow-burning masterpiece. For the Ambient purists, Forgotten with the Other Waters is a 19-minute epic, deep, evolving journey rich with field recordings and well thought out sound layers, calling to mind the immersive worlds of Carbon Based Lifeforms and Dreamstate Logic. The album closes with Annica, a powerful Raw Trance tribute to his friend Matt, where driving rhythms carry both grief and pleasant memories in equal measure. Narels new album is more than a collection of tracks. Its a full-bodied expedition through memory, loss, joy, and the vast spaces in between. From sunlit shores to the deep reaches of the cosmos, every piece is crafted with the precision of a producer at the peak of his powers. Unmissable.
It started with a strange email. Subject: Theyre ready. No text, just two attachments and a suspiciously clean signature: –Exotek. We played the tracks. Lights flickered. Someone spoke Latin by accident. Antiqua Magica summoned the vibe, Revelation kicked down the door with it. We tried replying. The message bounced. Classic Exotek. Disclaimer: Any resemblance to actual events, persons, or mysterious emails is purely fictional. No Latin speakers were harmed in the making of this release.

LAs Selective Response returns to Crisis Of Man with Infinite Dimension, his most ambitious and expansive EP to date. This 8-track EP marks the labels milestone 40th release, continuously pushing the boundaries of techno into new terrain. Rooted in cinematic textures and raw emotion, the project blurs the boundaries of techno, ambient, and experimental sounds, crafting a deep and immersive experience of power, pressure, and intensity. With Infinite Dimension, Crisis Of Man digs deeper into its underground roots, exploring richer, more introspective, and boundary-pushing soundscapes by continuously amplifying its signature intensity and expanding its sonic range.

Ukrainian deep trance hero OTTO K returns with his third EP on EL-EL, delivering two slabs of underground, forest-tinged prog, both packed with psychedelic tension and widescreen detail. Portugal 99 leads the charge with eerie top-line melodies and sharp percussion, carving out a cinematic space between progressive trance and forest psychedelia, receiving early support from Standard Form and Mr Wright on their acclaimed Sunset Sessions 2024 mix. On the flip, Isolated Island ups the energy with a driving, percussive groove, mixing brooding atmospheres with melodic restraint- a heads down tool built for long, late hours. First up on remix duties is Jake Grace, whos Meteor Shower was a much loved cut on 2024s Plymouth Brethren EP (LOST191) - and hes back here with a peak-time take on Portugal 99, stretching out the central riff into an expansive, big-room moment. Lawn Jarre, an exciting young talent from China, completes the package with 2 versions of Isolated Island. The first is a deep, hypnotic interpretation soaked in mid-90s post Goa / pre World Tour 99 era Oakey textures (think Ecano, Dream Traveller, Pink Bomb ) while a sharper, club focused mix rounds things off, dialling up the intensity whilst maintaining the hypnosis.
An Athenian, a Corfiot, and a Pontian enter a record label. The Athenian says, Lets get serious. We need a cover and the masters. The Corfiot says, Give me 10. A month passed, and the Pontian says, Did he mean 10 months? The Corfiot was impressed by The Pontians work! Those tracks are fire! he said, We need a cover that is fire too... or water... but water extinguishes fire. NO! Fire it is! No, its not some kind of joke, this is what happened. Disclaimer: The Pontian never rushed anybody, hes a cool and talented dude!
