Nelayan
Infekted Records proudly unveils a new and striking release from Nelayan, who delivered a solid two-track Peak Time Techno EP under the name of Teamwork, a release built to drive intensity straight into the heart of the dancefloor. Main track Teamwork sets the pace with a powerful rolling groove fueled by tight percussion, dense low-end pressure and raw, industrial-infused textures. Hypnotic synth lines and subtle futuristic details evolve steadily, shaping a dynamic flow that escalates tension and energy while guided by hypnotical vocals maintaining a strong, relentless drive from start to finish . Second and final track Phénix rises with a more dramatic and cutting approach, blending forceful rhythms and a caracteristic melody with sharp metallic synth and evolving atmospheric layers. Its progression feels reborn through constant transformation, pushing forward with a fiery momentum and a dark, commanding presence designed for peak-time moments. Teamwork EP is another chapter added with pleasure to the Infekted Records history, showcasing Nelayans refined vision and powerful sound identity, crafted with precision to leave a lasting impact on the dancefloor. LUCRE
Plastic Skin examines synthetic bodies and conditioned desire. Design over instinct. The title track Plastic Skin is rigid and physical, built from pressure and restraint, polished exterior, internal tension. Designed To Be Liked reduces identity to approval. Mechanical rhythm. Detached motion. Two tracks. No softness.

TiDUs (DE), Anna (JP)
Minar Records presents 'The Remembrance of Koto', the latest collaboration between Tidus and Anna (JP) - a sonic journey that crosses tradition and futurism, emotion and electronic architecture. Inspired by the delicacy of Japanese sound and minimalist oriental aesthetics, the original track builds a deep and cinematic atmosphere, where ethereal textures merge with an elegant and captivating rhythmic base. It is a composition that breathes memory, contemplation and contains intensity - a balance between the organic and the digital. The release gains a new dimension through a set of remixes that expand the sonic spectrum of the original: Felipe Alonso delivers a more energetic and club-oriented interpretation, maintaining the melodic essence while reinforcing the impact on the dance floor. Ricardo Mello imprints his distinctive signature, heightening the tension and guiding the narrative into deeper, more hypnotic territories with a refined and contemporary approach. Cyberx & Ian Markusovic explore a more futuristic aspect, with striking bass lines and an immersive atmospheric construction. 'The Remembrance of Koto' is a release that combines cultural identity with modern production, designed for both introspective moments and the dance floor.

We all feel lost and disconnected at times. Its only human. But what if these moments of uncertainty actually guide us to brighter futures? What if the barriers that exist within us are merely the ones we created ourselves. Its the same with music. Its human nature to categorize the sounds we hear and label them in a way that makes sense. But these barriers too can be broken down. And they have been, in the twenty-first installment of the annual year mix series: A State of Trance Year Mix 2024 (Mixed by Armin van Buuren).Starting with an inspirational intro narrated by none other than Moby, this 113-track, year-culminating mix is designed to push boundaries, weaving together the sounds that share a soul. Lean into them till they break, for the world beyond may add some color to yours. All together, in A State of Trance.

Luis Weyers
Luis Weyers – Delikat With Delikat, Luis Weyers delivers a powerful two-track peak-time statement built for intense club moments and driving dance floors. The title track "Delikat" blends hypnotic tension with raw energy. Rolling basslines, sharp percussion, and seductive atmospheric elements build a controlled pressure that explodes in pure peak-time impact. It's refined yet fierce — exactly what its name suggests. On the second track, "Zing," Luis turns up the intensity. Punchy drums, relentless groove, and razor-edged synth stabs create a high-voltage techno weapon designed for late-night warehouse energy. Direct, driving, and unapologetically powerful. Two tracks. No compromises. Peak-time techno at full force.
8asara, JUNIVERZ, Mike V3rink, Jacob Maess
VALTTERI
Out now on Animarum Recordings: VALTTERI – Losing Control (EP) — VALTTERI returns to Animarum with a 2-track peak-time statement, delivering Losing Control and SAVE U as driving soul techno weapons built for the main hours. Both cuts blend powerful forward grooves with beautiful vocal hooks, pushing emotion and pressure at the same time. Clean, energetic and made for hands-up moments when the room is fully locked in. Techno for your Soul | #soultechno
Return Fall, Chris Mantanz
Codex Recordings sets a new benchmark for the season with the high-octane Esto EP, featuring two masterfully crafted tracks that define the peak-time techno sound. The title track, Esto, marks a powerhouse collaboration between Return Fall and Chris Mantanz. It is a relentless, driving weapon built on a foundation of thunderous kicks and sharp, metallic percussion. The duo blends deep, rhythmic tension with dark, soaring synth leads, creating a sonic landscape that is as atmospheric as it is punishing. Rounding out the release, Return Fall takes the reins for the second track, delivering a solo effort that further cements his signature style. This production focuses on hypnotic modulation and intricate drum programming, offering a sleek, high-energy contrast to the lead single. Together, these two tracks represent the cutting edge of the Codex imprint: technical, bold, and engineered for the worlds most demanding dancefloors.
Marc Houle
On Dirpy Dirp EP, Marc Houle places bleep-heavy synth work firmly at the center of the frame. Houle's synth lines are playful but exacting, locking into steady motion while constantly reshaping themselves through subtle modulation. Small melodic fragments surface, loop and twist, creating a sense of momentum that comes from evolution rather than force. It's a focused approach that recalls the genre's most functional roots while still sounding sharp and current. Stripped down yet full of character, Dirpy Dirp EP is built for dancers who respond to detail as much as drive. Houle proves once again that in minimal techno, a handful of precisely placed bleeps-nudged and refined over time-can work an entire room.
DJ City, Karl Lihagen, 1-800 Techno
The story of how we heard about D.J. City. Once upon a time P.P. D.J.ed in Stockholm. Picked up by legend Sling from the airport, with what I recall was a very nice old Jeep, that had a tape deck. That Tape deck was playing a cassette that quickly caught our attention. We found out, on it was 1- 800 Techno, a project by another local legend D.J. City. Somehow we received the tape and digital files and have been playing them ever since. Years later we met D.J. City at a gig for Cocktail DAmore, it was a brief and pleasant introduction as he was handing over the decks to us. It took some more time until we really got in touch and started a work relation that quickly turned into friendship. Circa 10 years later, we have the opportunity to properly shine light on this project that started it all. You can listen to the full release digitally and on Vinyl for the first time. 1-800 Techno that is Karl Lihagen & Johan Norling (aka D.J. City) with For Several Eternals Before There Were Years. This I guess is what you call a full circle moment. Enjoy!

Water Please
Polish producer Water Please delivers a focused and uncompromising statement with My Thing, a hardgroove techno EP built for dark, sweaty dancefloors. Across four tracks, the sound is driven by heavy beats, tightly locked percussive patterns, and a hypnotic, forward-rolling groove that never loses pressure. 'Aristocrate of Crookery' sets the tone with raw, looping drums and a stripped-down menace, while 'Forgot my Aqualun' deepens the trance with dense rhythm layers and a shadowy atmosphere. The title track, 'It's My Thing,' is the EP's manifesto-direct, confident, and relentlessly physical. Closing cut 'Take Five 77' adds subtle rhythmic twists while maintaining the EP's dark, no-nonsense energy. My Thing is a solid hardgroove release that prioritizes function and intensity, marking Water Please as a producer firmly in control of his rhythmic language.
Rabbits on Saturn
"Disinfekt" is a cleansing of the soul. Expect twisted metal soundscapes and haunting whispers that penetrate your brain over a driving techno beat. The breakdown consists of a synth soaked melody rising to a climactic point at which point the drums and super low sub bass kicks in resonating every fibre of your being. The remix is a darker and driving reinterpretation with subtle industrial textures that creep and evolve beneath the groove. This EP is not just therapy for the mind, it's disinfecting the negative from it with every pulse.

'Ubicate' is a call to re-enter reality, not the curated one, but the raw, unfiltered ground beneath our feet. We live in a world spinning on distraction, and the record insists on orientation: body to rhythm, oneself to crowd, truth to motion and movement. Each track collapses genre borders (trance, hardgroove, psy-prog, breaks, electro...) into a single and rythmic organism that refuses to escape; it confronts. Voices, fragments, and samples appear like ghosts of street protests, laughter, and urgency and are reminders of the social frequencies reverberating under every dance floor. Ubicate isn't just spatial; it's ethical. It's a demand to locate oneself politically, emotionally, physically : to stop drifting and stand where you are, fully. Honest Moves becomes both an attitude and an act of resistance: clarity as defiance, presence as revolution.
