Arrakis (GER)
With Running To You, Big Bells Records proudly presents the first mini album by its resident and most consistent artist Arrakis (GER). Marking release number 111 on the label, this five-track journey stands as a milestone both for the artist and the imprint, capturing the depth, emotion, and musical identity that Arrakis has refined over years of close collaboration with Big Bells Records. The mini album unfolds as a cohesive emotional narrative, blending Progressive House, Melodic and Organic House, and touches of Melodic Techno into a flowing, hypnotic experience designed for both dancefloors and deep listening moments. Arrakis (GER), originally from Zagreb and now based in Germany, has become a cornerstone of the Big Bells Records sound since his debut EP Usque ad Finem et Ultra in 2022. As the labels most regular artist, his productions are known for their emotional depth, driving energy, and carefully crafted arrangements. Running To You reflects his artistic evolution, delivering a mature and confident body of work that stays true to the underground ethos of the label. Running To You is a statement release—capturing the essence of Arrakis musical identity and reinforcing Big Bells Records commitment to forward-thinking electronic music. With this mini album, Arrakis (GER) once again demonstrates his ability to connect emotion and movement, inviting listeners into a journey that resonates far beyond the dancefloor.
Richard McMaster
The twenty-first exploration of Ethereality revisits the ninth, as our two label heads give us their take on Tesseract and Interstellar by Richard McMaster. Bjorn Salvador gives us a deep, hypnotic trip with his classy reinterpretation of Tesseract. True to form, angelic ad libs and slowly evolving pads set the stage for rumbling bass and atmospheric effects. Percussive melodic hooks and a timeless, gritty synth arpeggio pull us further in and raise tensions, as it continues to dig under your skin. Jakhira takes us on an Interstellar journey, armed with vintage drum machines and interdimensional intricacy. Many of the original melodies are kept, but harmonic depth is added with pensive pads, gated vocals and heavily reverberated pianos adding blissful beauty. The breakdown allows a visceral violin some space to shine before it all builds back up and launches again, faster than you can say hyperspace.
Alex Konstantinov, Ranta
Under the gentle pressure of the synthesizers, as if through a morning mist, a melody emerges - pure and cool, like water in a stream. It flows unhurriedly, gaining barely perceptible details: the whisper of percussion, resembling the rustle of bamboo, the warm breath of the bass line. This is a story woven from sunlight piercing through the foliage and the silence between the notes. The sound unfolds softly and organically, much like a flower blooming or a shadow slowly changing its shape
Andy Lansky
Andy Lansky presents «Arabica» - a track where organic rhythm and melodic depth unfold with quiet intensity. Driven by a steady pulse and rich textures, it carries a sense of motion that feels both introspective and expansive. Arabica reveals itself gradually, shaping a warm and immersive atmosphere through subtle detail and flow. https://soundcloud.com/sirensrecords https://www.instagram.com/sirens.records https://www.facebook.com/sirensrecordslabel
We Are Eternal
We Are Eternal returns to Sofa Beats with a new two-track release, firmly rooted in his signature psychedelic mid-tempo sound. Ya Hu is inspired by Sufi mysticism and a personal connection to the Source. After studying Sufi texts on sound and higher realities, Ya Hu emerged as an integration of those insights. A trancey, almost running groove carries otherworldly, talking FM synths, sparkling with glitchy and detailed sound design. Organic yet hypnotic clarinet and oud melodies bring balance and warmth. Blending elements of progressive house and psytrance at a slightly slower, steadier tempo, the track creates a deep and safe space for dancers and listeners to connect with higher realms. Medicina de la Tierra draws inspiration from plant medicine and Native American wisdom traditions. Slightly faster in tempo, the track leans toward a melodic yet swampy and tribal psytech aesthetic. Psytrance-driven FM lifters give way to a massive melodic bass lead that glues the entire composition together after the drop. Powerful Rapé ícaros carry blessings and teachings from plant-medicine allies, grounding the dancefloor in ritual and intention. As usual in WAEs productions, layers of flutes and organic, ancient instruments are woven into modern sound design, bridging ancestral wisdom with futuristic psychedelia.
Alex Spite
Quiet delight of the first breath, woven into the rhythm of beating hearts. A soundscape where pulsing bass waves are steps into a new dimension of being. This is not a story, but the tactile sensation of that second when the world gently rearranges itself around its new, fragile, and absolute center of the universe
