Goom Gum return to Watergate Records with Pentada, a peak-time weapon built for bigger floors. Pentada sits in a driving Tech House space, with a ravy edge running through the track. A tight groove and solid low-end keep things locked in, while the synth work adds a sharper, more energetic feel, complemented by a slick 80s-leaning piano. Vocals play a central role, pushing the track forward and giving it a raw, upfront character without overcomplicating the arrangement. The release also includes an instrumental mix, keeping the focus purely on the groove for more stripped-back moments.

Pattn's contribution to the Momentum Series leans into contrast with a clear sense of control, pairing two distinct moods without losing cohesion. "Frequencies" sets the tone on the front end. 'Flip No' is, to put it simply, immense. Real old school 80s Chicago jackin' vibes (think Adonis, Bam Bam et al) are aided and abetted by rumbunctious ravey stabs, all building to a powerful progtastic crescendo. A punch has rarely been so packed. Partner in crime 'Jomi' is equally invigorating. A dark, minimal intro gradually gives way to wonderfully euphoric riffage – imagine you're dancing heads down in the dark, the light begins to creep in, and before you know it, you're greeting a beautiful sunrise. 'Jomi' does that in 8 minutes! On remix duties, Selador debutant and Bedrock / Renaissance alumni Derderwandert twists the original's key riff in a darker direction without losing any of its uplifting edge and adds snappy vocal inserts for good measure.
