thds returns to Bar 25 Music with 'Felix II,' a two-track EP that continues where 'Felix' left off, the second chapter of a larger work born from one of the most profound and disorienting shifts in a human life: the birth of a child. In those first months, reality softened at the edges. Days folded into nights. Sleep fractured into fragments. The mind drifted through strange territories somewhere between dreams and waking life, while sudden waves of love and adrenaline brought moments of almost surreal clarity. There was no clear boundary between beauty and chaos. They existed together, constantly overlapping. Music became orientation. A way to hold onto something. 'Amaris' lingers in transformation, inspired by the idea that a leaf can long to be a wing, that something fleeting can hold the weight of something infinite. 'Nemi' sits at the edge of collapse, the fragile space where everything feels uncertain and doubt speaks the loudest. It doesn't resolve that tension. It lets you sit inside it. A Belgian-Portuguese composer and multi-instrumentalist, thds has been releasing music since 2018 on Bar 25 Music, Akumandra and Sol Selectas, and has performed at Claire in Amsterdam, Monsieur Mouche in Paris and Klein Garten in Istanbul. 'Felix II' is not a standalone release. It is the second half of a whole.
