A compelling and rousing comeback for the respected DJ/producer, his latest delivery is further amplified by two distinct reworks, crafted by Doanro and Istanbul-based duo Drumstone. Wasting no bar on By My Side, ZENØNs latest hybrid behemoth unfurls over a surging sequence that blazes over a throbbing low-end pulse, coursing unbridled as clipped hi-hats lead us straight to an absolutely scrupulous vocal refrain. Inciting us to succumb under its sugar-laced magic, we are pulled inside a gargantuan breakdown built for festival stages as tension becomes palpable before crashing down over us for one last go at this feel-good rollercoaster. Our first reinterpretation of By My Side comes from Germany-based producer Doanro, who takes the cut into Afro-melodic terrains with some heavy-handed percussion and pulsating bassline, adding an extra layer of depth with gutural stabs before unleashing the vocals under the spotlights. Wrapping up this most colorful delivery, Turkish production duo Drumstone cuts even deeper with a minimal take, allowing for each element to gain a new dimension as the distinct vocals tread into new domains for a blissful twist that is bound to make hearts melt under its undeniable warmth.
