Berlins Mike Dehnert debuts on Victor Calderone & Avisions MATTER+ imprint with Berlin Rush, a 3-track EP comprising a range of raw, floor techno; the signature sound of the Fachwerk Records boss. The deep & dubby Shadow York starts things off, and features chopped-up, effected background vocals & synths that rise & recede throughout, creating a chilled-out hypnosis. The title track Berlin Rush follows, with stabbing synths & jacking percussion combining to form a smooth groove. The energy peaks with the closer Isotope, as it showcases a swinging bassline & hypnotic, textured loops that one could imagine Dehnert featuring heavily during his infamous live sets.
