Joe Davies, commended for the depth and quality of his 2023 album Shields in Full Sunlight on Smallville Records and earlier work with Lehult and KANN under the DJ Assam alias, now partners with Cubemod, one of the heads behind the Fast Castle imprint. The duo has been cooking up a dozen tracks, focusing on spontaneity and fun over perfecton that instantly embody the core spirit of the label. From those sessions, the first three dubbed out analogue house jams now come to light.
