The long awaited digital version of A Decade of Dubplates is finally available. Drawing on over a decade of previously unreleased material and new music, label boss LQ has compiled some of the best in dub and jungle from Au/NZ and the EU/UK. The album features tracks from Pugilist, Headland, Kloke, Midnight Dubs, MSHCode and more. Stand out tracks include the MSHcode and LQ remix of Way Down with Mshcode chopping and rinsing the amens through his Akai sampler with some extra rhythmic science added by LQ. Deadly sub movements underpin the breakbeats with pressurized bass switches in the second movement. The low end movements don't ease up on the b side with Kloke and LQ combining on a track called Computer Bubblers. Complex break combinations and edits keep the track moving with Roland Space Echo fx swirling around the dense bass. Analogue overdrive (via LQ's Soundtracs desk) fuses it all together neatly with a nod to 80's dancehall sound tapes. Duburban & Galvatron flex their skills on Let Off The Music, a rare groove intro flows into a classic '94 style jungle roll out guaranteed to fill any junglist dancefloor or your money back.
