Some legends don't stay still. On 'Rewired Classics', Talamasca returns to the vaults - not to remix, but to rebuild. Every track here started life as a landmark of the psytrance scene and has been completely reconstructed from scratch: no original stems, no shortcuts - full rewrites.\n\nTitles have shifted as deliberately as the music itself - close enough to remember, different enough to matter.\n\nFull-on melodic psy trance built for peak-time floors, carrying the DNA of the originals forward while proving the best ideas never really finish - they just wait for the right session to become something new again.

A first preview of a forthcoming album, Mekkanikka reaches back to pull something forward. "We Called It Techno" is full-on psy at its core - relentless, driving, built for peak time - but laced with the kind of old-skool Goa madness that shaped the genre before anyone had a name for it: squelching synth lines, hypnotic loops, a real sense of ritual. A knowing nod to the roots of the psychedelic trance scene.
