SOMA Labs Music presents a release that blurs the boundaries between dream, reality, and chance - Oneroid. The name refers to the phenomenon of oneiroids - dreamlike hallucinations in which a person becomes both participant and explorer of their own visions, losing all sense of time and space. This very state - the highest form of immersion, where the listener and music merge into a single whole - forms the core of the album created by SVEFNLAUS. Music as an Organic Process, Chance as Method. This is not a traditional composition, but an avant-garde sonic experiment inspired by 20th-century legacy and John Cages philosophy on the role of chance in art. The environment, mood, and listeners perception are just as important as the sounds themselves: compositions arise in the moment, events are not pre-programmed but emerge spontaneously, as in Cages 4:33. Each piece is like a living being, like a flower growing in response to light, shadow, and the circumstances of its surroundings. This concept is also reflected visually - with plants depicted on the album cover. There are no rigidly set sequences or templates in this album: SVEFNLAUS shapes the sound in real time. Acoustic instruments (saxophone, guitar), field recordings (street noises, birdsong) intertwine with electronic flows to form a unified sonic tapestry. The main instrumental framework of the setup consists of SOMA Laboratory synthesizers and devices (FLUX, LYRA-8, ETHER, and others), used without computers or DAWs, entirely performed live. Oneroid is music as inspiration, music as question, music as exploration. It is an invitation to experience the boundary between the conscious and unconscious, to feel how the interaction of environment, instrument, and human thought weaves into a unique sonic experience.
