Introducing 'The Black Light Project', a six-track body of work from Kolectiv arriving in two parts on Metalheadz. The project began organically, with the duo writing a substantial folder of tracks before realising they had the foundations of something much bigger. Across Part 1, Kolectiv explore different sides of the Metalheadz sound, from the dub-influenced depths of 'Remember Me' to the atmospheric homage of 'Neon Unknown', inspired by the work of Jonny L. Following 2025's 'Damocles EP', 'The Black Light Project' sees Kolectiv continue to develop their sound with music built to stand the test of time.

We welcome Hobzee to the METHXX series with a five track collection built through years of collaboration and experimentation. The 'Things Are Different Now EP' came together without Hobzee ever setting out to make an EP. After Goldie reached out following a previous release on 31 Recordings, Hobzee sent over a selection of tracks with Goldie choosing a final five both were happy with. Across the EP, warm pads, rolling subs and detailed production sit alongside jazz influences and a number of long-running collaborations. The title track features bass guitar from Rob Le Plar, while 'Revox' brings together Justice, Secret Night Gang's Callum Connell on saxophone and Hobzee's production. Two further tracks feature his long-time collaborator Uneven. His first release on Metalheadz and a return to his solo alias, 'Things Are Different Now' shows Hobzee doing what he does best, making deep, detailed music without worrying about where it fits.
