The Virginia Valley's third album Amnesia Colectiva gets a full remix treatment, eleven tracks pulled apart and rebuilt by eleven different producers. The Bogotá band, working across Post-Punk, Dark Wave and Electroclash, hands the source material to a wide range of remixers spanning Indie Dance, Dark Disco, Breaks, Downtempo, Latin Electronic and Hyperpop. Nuclear Digital Transistor, DJ Vandel, Madd Rod, ANTI Trip Hop, So Madriz, Osccurate, Los Signos, Soul AM, Julianna Plastik, Moderna and Voodoo Meluk each take a different angle on a different track of the same record. CYRK take on "As The Sun Rises East" from Madd Rod's In Constant Evolution album, the third installment in the record's remix series. The Berlin duo strip the original back to its bones and rebuild it in electroclash club territory, cold synths cutting through a tight, driving pulse. Sparse, direct, built for the floor.
