First up is Rave Alert Whirling subs, attacked synths and low-def drums make this a great little starting track on this 6 Track EP. Second up is Selecta (instrumental) This one is on here for all the budding DnB MCs out there. With loads of bass and a steady tempo, let your creativity go wild. 3rd on the EP is Selecta Ft Kriptik. For those of you not into reaching for your muse and getting busy with a pen. Let Nottingham based Kriptik lay down the bars. You wont be disappointed. Perfectly placed in the middle of the EP is Clash Culture Punchy Sublines, distorted drums and sharp topper and hats, this ones a real bouncer. Sound test comes second to last. From the get-go you get a real industrial feel. Lots of mechanics, Lazers, tight toppers and risers galore. And, If it hasnt already been invented. Im going to say robotic subs. Brand new on Gorilla Warfare is Tequila by Conrad subs With over 20 years of production, Conrad Subs is no stranger to putting great dance tracks out there. Going under various alias over the years he eventually took a break and returned under the new name Conrad Subs back in 2017 In 2019 he was nominated for best breakthrough producer at the We love jungle awards. Tequila has a real Latin American vibe, picture sombreros and castanets before the warbled bassline and the space fx risers Kick in. with loads of attack and distortion. This falls hard into the jump up category and is a must for any jump up fans. For licensing & label enquiries, please contact Martin Flex: martin@hotcakesmusic.com
Fresh out on Gorilla Warfare is the new Bullet Train EP from Vodkah Vodkah started DJing back in 1992. Since then, he has formed the Future Sub Junglists, started his own record label, performed legendary gigs and supported artists like Commix, Jenna G and Ed Rush. The opener on this EP Come My Way is straight up high energy DnB at its best. Long low subs, laser Fxs and loads of risers, this track has a real industrial feel to it. With perfectly pitched vocals over the top, this first track is an absolute banger. Unbreakable comes next. This track continues to build from almost a jungle vibe, with sweet synth organs to a DnB track with wicked subs, and then builds even more into a jump up onslaught. The last track is Silo. Soft vocals and gentle synths mixed with punchy distorted subs and crashing toppers end out a well put together set of tunes.
