Following a string of releases that have cemented Glitterbox as the hub for independent house and disco worldwide, four sought-after and previously unreleased mixes that have soundtracked the labels parties get a special outing for the third volume of Glitterbox Archives. This red-hot delivery opens with an alternative mix of The Shapeshifters synthy track Loves Been Waiting featuring Chic singer Kimberly Davis and originally from the producers major 2022 studio album Let Loose. What follows is nightlife mainstay Michael Grays dub of In My World, featuring Brutha Basil & Tatiana Owens, which takes the love letter to disco and ups the ante considerably. Next up are two tracks that have only been available on 12 up till now. Groovejet was a UK Number 1 for DJ Spiller back in 2000, and the smash debut for Sophie Ellis-Bextor has seen countless re-edits and remixes since the turn of the century. Melbourne producer Harvey Sutherlands remix adds plenty of playful, synthy goodness to the groove-laden classic, and this Instrumental allows his production to shine. Rounding off this collection is Crooked Mans Crooked Line 2 version of Escorts 2010 hit Cocaine Blues, lovingly revisited by Glitterbox and re-introduced to a new generation of disco fans nearly a decade after its initial release.
