Its time to welcome back Matty Wright to Critical Elements with another exceptional release. Featuring Francesca Paynes stunning vocals, Matty has really delivered with this track, digging deep to produce a familiar but at the same time fresh sound. Breakbeat is weaved over a soaring almost progressive trance sound capturing the classic Space Brothers/Chakra vibe, building slowly but surely to a full on crescendo. This is a very special track.
For our next release we welcome Thaddeus back to the label for a scorching double header of original productions. First up we have the lead track Is This Real and the moment we heard it we knew it was special. The term Progressive Trance often gets diluted from its real meaning, but this track nails it. Dreamy synths and a filtered vocal wash over a beautiful melody that will take you to another level of euphoria. The spoken word in the breakdown makes this track a real stand out. Next up we have Talk To Me which keeps dreamy elements but goes for a deeper punch. Thaddeus weaves the groove like a sorcerer on a spine tingling dance floor journey of atmospheric textures, punchy bass and another filtered but subtle vocal that fits the track perfectly. Both originals really are quality productions. To round off the release we look to our very own Mike Bentley to remix Is This Real. Mike opens with his own take of progressive breaks but with unmistakable elements of the original. A deep industrial hook quickly enters the track which locks you into the rhythm immediately. Mike keeps the filtered vocal element to add drama, building suspense for his breakdown before smoothly transitioning back to full flow. An outstanding remix of what was already an outstanding original track.
Next up on Critical Elements we welcome Matty Wright to the label. Matty is a talent weve been watching for a while and boy has he delivered. If the Space Brothers/Lustral/Chakra released a progressive breaks track in 2025 we think it would sound like this, which is only a compliment! Mattys original take is the epitome of dreamy. Deep and atmospheric bass and percussion washed over by a stunning vocal from Francesca Payne. This track already sounds like a memorable part of our scene, did you hear it played at a sun kissed festival in 99, or was it in a club in 2025? To add to the release we looked to label friend Focus FL for a remix. He has released with us before and has really worked his magic on this one. Here he opts for a 4/4 makeover, speeding up the BPM and toughening the sound for a version perfect for the nights crescendo. Focus FL provides a journey of a remix for us yet again, the filtered vocal and changes in key building the energy and drama.
Focus FL, aka Eric Turco, has delivered a double header thats deep-space soundscapes lives up to the astral title. Blue Neptune eases us into the release, warm synth waves start washing over from the very start producing a Space Manoeuvres-esc reflection which is carried through the whole track. The first break strips it back to floating curtains of sound before Eric punches straight back into the core of the track, a driving wave of ethereal but bass driven texture. Keplar moves us to another corner of the solar system. A more driving track this time coupled with some intricate synth pads deliver a project that could follow Blue Neptune perfectly as well as stand on its own. The stunning synth work weaves in and out of the track showing the detail Eric has written into this release.
