Tre Turner bounces back on Belters4u with two unashamedly old school Scottish club cuts and two remixes from London Prog Trance upstarts, Close Proximity. With shared spiritual roots in the West of Scotland early 90s rave scene, Belters4U and Tre Turner realise their adolescent dream in releasing this love letter to a decadent lost reality. Title track Scottish Piano amalgamates a million shared moments on Scottish dance-floors and living room parties. Through the haze of smoke and strobes, CLOSE PROXIMITY Trance mix recalls the wildest, ecstatic face-melting moments from the Metro and Hangar 13. On the flip Ultra-Free samples the vocal hook from the ultimate Scottish old skool rave anthem Obsession by legends Ultra-Sonic. Hardcore pianos meet gated synths and thumping solid bass. Close Proximity round things off by taking you into euphoric dreamland with their ever-evolving paradise mix.
With Your Trip, Phil Anker delivers a hypnotic dive into Prog, House and Acid-leaning club music, blending driving grooves with playful psychedelia and late-night intensity. The EP moves fluidly between deep, rolling rhythms and raw, analog textures, designed as a continuous journey rather than a collection of standalone tracks. Opening title track Your Trip sets the tone with pulsating basslines and trippy atmospheres, pulling the listener straight into Ankers sonic world. Morning Forest shifts into a more organic, hypnotic flow, while Left and Right locks into a tight, forward-pushing groove made for the dancefloor. Galactic Bloop leans into playful acid lines and cosmic textures, before Terminator closes the EP with a heavier, more mechanical edge. Rooted in progressive house but unafraid to explore acid and house influences, Your Trip reflects Phil Ankers approach to club music: energetic, immersive, and built for long sets and dark rooms. Released on Belters4U Records, the EP captures the spirit of late-night movement, where groove, experimentation, and atmosphere collide.
