IVM Trio is made up of percussionist & composer Sebastien Forrester, producer & visual artist Mika Oki, and artist & producer Apulati Bien. All three sit within the French-Brussels axis, united by a shared love of free improvisation, sparse atmospherics and rapturous club mutations. Inner Voice Movement works the trio out nicely, with the inaugural album a genuinely exploratory record. Abstraction and contemplation sit side by side, as the trio dives into the micro-precision of computer music while mirroring organic, environmental schemes. These have long been persistent points of study for all three artists. Arriving on Accidental Meetings, 'Explain Yourselves' has been a long time coming and it features three outstanding vocalists. South Korean artist bela brings the depth and range of their guttural vocals; Bristol-based Grove, a leading voice in punk-dancehall crossover, pulls things back with a spoken-word feature; and Naples sound artist Sara Persico rounds things off with a stunning excerpt of storytelling.

Underpinned by spoken folktales stretching from Indonesia to Poland, a new collaborative EP from Warszawa/Berlin-based Jerzy Maczynski and London-based Flora Yin-Wong arrives via Accidental Meetings. Demons rising from the wind, unknown beings lurking in the forest the record conjures a landscape built from heady layers of saxophone and the tormented strings of zither, harp and kemence. Recorded across two intense studio sessions, the EP also features idiosyncratic contributions from London-based guest vocalists and musicians Aga Ujma and Laila Sakini. Flora Yin-Wong is a London-born experimental sound artist and writer of Chinese and Malaysian heritage, known for weaving field recordings and traditional instruments. Her album Holy Palm (Modern Love) and book Liturgy (PAN) cemented her as a singular voice in experimental music today. Jerzy Maczynski is a Polish saxophonist, producer and composer whose jazz training feeds into genre-melting work spanning kosmische, prog, industrial techno and minimalism. One of his collaborations being a record of free jazz and rhythmic cubism with Chicago's Hieroglyphic Being. credits

Long time collaborators Seekersinternational & wzrdryAV join forces once again for Orbit Flares on Accidental Meetings; chopping and twisting wzrdryAV's signature dilated drone-scapes and recontextualizing them into a new album of depth-charged dynamics. The title Orbit Flares is a nod to their scratching and turntablist roots; evoking cyclic, loop-based dissections and reversals of sound and time. 15 years later, Orbit Flares comes as the sequel to their earliest collaborative study, Magnetic Haze.
