When you press play on your sound carrier of choice (the modern equivalent of putting the needle on the record when the drumbeats go like this), we can confirm that Messrs Pappa & Stoynoff will effortlessly transport you to dancefloor nirvana. This double header is greater than the sum of its already stellar parts; your summer soundtrack has arrived.\n\n'435' wears a coat of many sonic colours, knitted together expertly by our two masters. It travels from teasing intro to emotive crescendo via a series of deft detours, an electronic concept album's worth of ideas all given room to breathe in seven and a half minutes of bliss.\n\n'Selcouth' is also a thing of beauty. A broodingly hypnotic bassline paves the way for a series of ever more insistent elements, until the hypnotic arpeggiated riff kicks in and all bets are off.
