Shamanic Tales is proud to present the first in our new series of Shamanic Sonic Journeys through our catalog. When people ask what genre of music we release, we say the answer is in the label name: as long as it is shamanic and tells a tale, it belongs here. Genres, styles, formulas, and expectations do not interest us. In this series, we dive deep into our catalog to weave a long sonic tale, a continuous shamanic exploration of sound. As our music is aimed to be a tool for a spiritual experience on the dancefloor, echoing similar traditions throughout human history, each journey will be named after a Shaman or spiritual figure from indigenous cultures. These leaders guided their people through consciousness-expanding rituals, just as we aim to do with music. This first volume is titled 'Onánya,' named after the spiritual healers of the Shipibo-Konibo people of the Peruvian Amazon. Compiled by label manager Shahar, it traverses a wide spectrum of styles and moods. Volume up, close your eyes, open your mind, and see you on the other side!
Noor, Protobase, Nevo, SOME1, Migdalor, Perfect Stranger, Out of Orbit (Eitan Reiter), Ritmo, Asgard, Subway Shamans, Outsiders, Animato, Mercuroid, Misaya, Burn In Noise, Alpha Portal, OxiDaksi, Astrix, Faders, Blazy, Electric Universe, Greg Hilight, Shanti V Deedrah, Darwish, Pettra, Persona (Psy), Moonclipse, Meszecsinka, Federico Baltimore
Shamanic Tales welcomes back Migdalor for his new two-track EP, Planeta. The release opens with 'SunHawk,' a collaboration with veteran underground DJ and producer Nomolos, which has already proven itself as a dancefloor favorite. This is followed by the title track, 'Planeta,' a 13-minute-long journey that is a deep and powerful hypnotizer. This EP perfectly presents the essence of Migdalor's music: it is deep, hypnotic, patient, very groovy, and full of fresh sounds. It somehow manages to be intense while retaining a lot of space in the music. His sound is charged with emotion and always tells a story - exactly the kind of deep, narrative-driven psychedelic trance we love.
