Clarisse's main man Mendo bounces back up to the booth with yet another stylish club groove looking to hug playlists all summer long. The illustrious, decades-long career of the DJ, producer, remixer, label owner, globetrotter and wearer of many industry hats, keeps pushing on to the sound of 'Parriba', expanding a personal discography envied the world over. Once bass starts swinging from left to right like it's got your money, and filtered vocals drift effortlessly in the heat haze, 'Parriba' triggers those in the mood to style out. Chattier lyrics bowl around town, and this is Mendo taking in city sights and sounds as he struts through the freedom of the streets; leaving worshippers in his wake, not doing too much to take the beats off track, but dispatching a groove you won't wanna climb out of. Tracked across Europe before inevitably breaking out under the bright lights of the United States, Barcelona's Ssero is tasked with the remix. A touch more forceful with the bass-lead melody but still possessing a tropicality so sunglasses and a straw for his cocktail don't go unnoticed, Ssero ensures 'Parriba' prances without forgetting to pack a punch, fading those fuzzy vocals in and out of the mix with an artisan touch.
