Take the title seriously. This EP is big and it's bad and, while not literally a wolf, it's got everything required to blow down the house.\n\nYou've heard Deekline and Son of Sam team-up on the massive 'Local', and now they're bringing us five new tracks, six if you include Yo Speed's remix of the title track.\n\nTaking us through 4/4 bassline, UKG, and breaks flavours, with vibes ranging from the low-end grit of 'Rack City' to the float-away soul of 'Deeper', this delivers something closer to a mini-album than a collection of disparate tracks. Beat and bassline artistry in effect.\n\nFor licensing & label enquiries, please contact Martin Flex: martin@hotcakesmusic.com

For their inaugural release, Mode Recordings present Suh It Guh, a dark and skippy grime track with vocals from prolific mic-men Jammz and Logan - both in stellar form off the back of their respective albums last year- along with up-and-coming MC Amzzino, whos hot off the heels of Scorcher and Wiley co-signs. Jammz was also on the other side of the mixing board for this one, flexing his production chops and setting pace with a murky instrumental which is also featured on this release alongside an acappella version.

There's another instalment of Jungle Cakes' seminal 'Welcome to the Jungle' series incoming, and this is the first taste of the new material you'll hear in there. With Speaker Louis & G-Class at the helm you know it's going to be heat, and this single confirms it.\n\n'Soundboy Burial' brings in JC regular Logan to deliver a classic dancehall mic man vocal on a skank-out riddim track that's exactly what's required to get 2026 dancefloors energised. And remember, this is just the warning shot.\n\nFor licensing & label enquiries, please contact Martin Flex: martin@hotcakesmusic.com
