HT036 introduces Brazilian DJ and producer Pedro Gariani to the Heattraxx catalog. Active in the South American house scene and known for his groove-focused productions, Gariani is also one of the names behind Cardume Records, a collective widely recognized for curating some of the most respected and forward-thinking house music events in Brazil. Here, Gariani joins forces with New York-based singer and songwriter Lee Wilson, whose career spans decades of work in soul, disco and house music alongside some of the genre's most respected names. 'Addicted' is built on classic house foundations, combining a tight rhythmic structure with Wilson's unmistakable vocal delivery, rooted in soul and true dancefloor tradition rather than short-lived trends. On remix duties, Spanish producer Piem - returning to the label - reshapes the track with a more driving and contemporary approach, reinforcing the low-end and modern club dynamics while preserving the original's vocal character.
