Following Jepe's timeless single Tamed, Urge To Dance delivers a remix package from two Artists with distinct, uncompromising visions. Deckert and Dominik Marz approach the original from opposite ends of the dance floor, and the result is a double portrait of what club music can be when conviction matters more than formula. Deckert's remix offers an analogue undertaking - the centrepiece a Moog Sub 37 whose synth elements coil around the original's cool atmosphere with a warm, organic density, while on the low end a Fender Precision lays down bass licks that cary weight, attitude and physical feeling.
