The art of the album within bass music has never been more important. In an era of perceived algorithmic dominance, global dubstep dons and DDD founders Truth have delivered an LP for the ages with Timelines - exploring parallel worlds, timeline fractures and multiple universes. An artistic statement that goes against the grain, transporting you to another dimension across 18 tracks of sublime craft, resonance, and emotion - boasting soul-enriching sonic depth, innate musicality, and, of course, bone-rattling sub frequencies. Second single 'Love Me in the Dark' sees the duo team up with long time collaborator Dub Princess, for a piece of moody melodic dubstep perfection. The dreamy, ethereal yet haunting intro features Megumi's full vulnerability before the anthemic main hook sets off a drop that slaps you senseless. Powerful synths, trappy drums and sub-throbbing bass combine to deliver a thrill of complete euphoria, yet nuanced with a sense of palpable tension and unease. Lose yourself in the dark with Truth and Dub Princess. Love will find you.
