D-Shift makes his debut with a powerful double header. The new side project of D. Singh of Drunken Kong fame, D-Shift will dive deeper into the melodic side of house and explore the inner realms of the groove. Beginning his sonic journey this time around on Christian Smith's acclaimed Tronic imprint - a place familiar to him after two long players - the D-Shift sound will feature strong influences from progressive house. Opening with 'Control Me', a drum-led percussive underbelly reveals bubbly bass and bright sonics. Building tension over the first half, keys and soulful sax combine for a deeper, vibey mid-set groover. On the flipside, 'Make Some Noise' follows suit. Deep and powerful, the low end grunt is met with bright, joyous arps and hypnotic stabs. A strong start for the Tokyo native.
