Its been a minuet since we heard a new Biome Record on Deep Heads. The new EP Strange Worlds is well worth the wait though. Signature hard hotting beats with masterful baseline production, give the EP a weighty flavour and continue Biomes thread of 140bpm music at its best. Strange Worlds is a zoned out roller that will have you transcend into new dimensions. The subs are well rounded and beats punch a hole through this classy production. Then Heavy eyes continue the theme of rollings beats and driving subs with detailed production work. Its uplifting and yet dark at the same time. A fantastic display of what Biome is all about when he takes his music a bit deeper. Sistema 140 is absolutely outrageous! Precise beat work lace together the baselines that burst through the seems of the recording. The baseline manipulation is second to none and technically jaw dropping. This is what Biome is all about. Last up is Escapist. This is definitely a track to listen out for. More mediative, low frequency brain flow to sink into and this one has a very elegant flavour. We hope you enjoy the music :)
For us at 1985 Music, our Various Artists series are extremely important. It not only provides a great platform to celebrate music from a wide range of artists, but it also enables us to push the parameters of underground music. We are very excited to share the third and final part of our Atlas series which includes both new and familiar faces.
