We welcome Birmingham badman S3 Dubs to the label for his debut EP and he brings the heat with two original tracks that knocked Borrow clean off his chair on first listen, plus two label heads to help round out our 83rd outing as an imprint. Following a couple of excellent remixes in 2022 on the label, plus years of admiration of him as a producer, we were stoked to ask him to put together a few tracks to give him his debut EP on the label, and man, has he delivered! With two original tracks that tread the excellent line between grime and dubstep, S3 Dubs has put together something that we have been running in our radio sets as soon as they came back from the mastering studio. On remix duty, S3 Dubs has 'completed the circle' as he phrased it, inviting the artists he remixed for to do the same for him on his EP. First up is his Birmingham bretherin Delta, who takes title track 'Stinger' and gives it straight up Delta-treatment, giving it that old school sound that we've grown to love from the artist. Second up is Qwirk, who takes the b-side 'Let Me Go' and gives it a 140 breaks rework which is a lovely antithesis to the EP and a great way to close proceedings.
